2022 Deer Ridge Elementary Running Club

Who:  Deer Ridge 3rd through 5th Grade Boys and Girls

What: Training group that will work together to prepare for the SACS Elementary Mile Race

When:  Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
(4 weeks:  April 19th, 21st, 26th, 28th, May 3rd, 5th, 10th, & 12th)

Cost:  $35 (This fee pays for the training group, T-shirt, and the entry fee for the SACS Elementary Mile Race).  If payment is a hardship for your family or if you have any questions regarding the SACS Elementary Mile, please email Tammy Behrens at [email protected]

Running Club Information:
  -Students will need to wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes for running.
  -Students should provide their own water bottle clearly labeled with their name to each training session.
  -Students may pack a healthy snack to eat quickly after school prior to practice. (Please make sure it is a peanut free snack.)
  -When possible, students will meet outside and remain outside.  If there is inclement weather, we will move inside to practice.
  -We will dismiss the runners by carpool numbers, please have your student's number displayed in your car.
